Four accused on Wednesday 20th May, 2020 made their first appearance before Magistrate Hannah Bonnie of Pademba Road Court No. 1 for allegedly conspiring with other person unknown to murder one Ibrahim Kamara.
The accused were Tamba Kargbo, Bockarie Koroma, Tamba Turay and Sao Kargbo. They were arraigned on two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony and murder contrary to law.
The charge sheet indicated that the accused on Saturday 9th March, 2020 at Waterfall Bumbuna, Tonkolili District conspired with other person unknown to commit a felony. The accused on the same date at the same place murdered Ibrahim Kamara.
After the charged were read to the accused, no plea was taken, whilst the police prosecutor Inspector Gbassay Fofanah sought for a date that the witnesses would be present in court.
The accused were denied bail and the matter was adjourned to 27th May, 2020.
