Sierra Leone’s Franklyn Remissa Conteh Esq, the Company Secretary of Cricket Sierra Leone (CSL), has been duly elected alongside six Directors from Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Namibia, and Rwanda to serve the Board of the Africa Cricket Association (ACA) for the period of two years.

This happened early on Friday during the ACA Annual General Meeting, which occurred on the sidelines of the ICC Annual Conference in Singapore.

This has come months after he was appointed to serve as Secretary and Legal Adviser to the Board of ACA at the body’s 26th Annual General Meeting in Harare, Zimbabwe, through the leadership of Francis Trevor Samura, Board Chairman CSL.

This marks a significant breakthrough in CSL’s 82-year history and comes as good news for Sierra Leone as a country.

Chairman Samura said Conteh will form a strategic part of the continental body comprising 23 countries.

This is one of the continental achievements Chairman Samura has brought home in addition to winning four development awards, beating well financed African nations.
