Three defendants who identify themselves as Emmanuel Senesie, Kindo Kamara and Emmanuel Sampha Kabia on Wednesday, 21 January, 2026 made their first appearance before Magistrate Mustapha Braima Jah of Pademba Road court no.1, after pleading guilty to the offenses of conspiracy and Larceny and are presently awaiting sentence.

The defendants were arraigned before the court on three count charges ranging from conspiracy to commit a crime contrary to law, Larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916 and receiving stolen goods contrary to Section 33(1) of the Larceny Act of 1916.

The charge sheet states that Emmanuel Senesie and Kindo Kamara on Friday 28 November 2025 at College road Goderich in Freetown, conspired together to commit a crime to wit larceny.

The charge sheet further states that both Emmanuel Senesie and Kindo Kamara steal fifty (50) drums of Lubrex Lubricant oil valued at fifty thousand dollars equivalent to one million, two hundred thousand new Leones property of Masmak Mining Company whilst in custody of madam Harriet Turay.

The charge sheet ended that the third defendant Emmanuel Sampha Kabia between 1 and 30 September 2025 in Freetown did receive two drums of Lubrex Lubricant oil valued at two thousand dollars equivalent to forty eight thousand new Leones property of Masmak Mining Company knowing to have been stolen.

After the charges were read and explained to the defendants they pleaded guilty of the offense.

Magistrate Mustapha Braima Jah therefore adjournment the matter to the 28 January 2026 for judgment and the defendants were remanded in custody.
