The Office Assistant at Eco Bank and complainant, Emmanuel Cooper, yesterday dragged Sheku Rashid Kamara to court for alleged wounding and assault on him in a manner occasioning actual bodily harm.
The accused, Sheku Rashid Kamara, appeared before Magistrate Hannah Bonnie of Court No.1 on Pademba Road Freetown on three counts of wounding with intent, wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, all contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone.
According to the charge sheet, the accused, on Thursday 18th June, 2020 at Tengbeh Town car wash in Freetown, wounded Emmanuel Cooper, Office Assistant at the Eco Bank, with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.
The charge sheet further stated that the accused, on the same day and place, maliciously wounded Emmanuel Cooper and assaulted him in a manner thereby occasioning him actual bodily harm.
ASP Ibrahim Sheik Mansaray is prosecuting the matter.
No bail was granted by the Magistrate. The accused was remanded in custody until 24th July 2020 when the matter will come up again.
