Ahead of SLPL 2nd Round… AIK Freetong Players Join Sierra Leone Police FC

Ahead of the restart of the second round of the Sierra Leone Premier League which is schedule to kick start on Friday, 11th February 2022, AIK Freetong FC has confirmed loaning two of their players to premier league outfit Sierra Leone Police FC.

Striker Cleb Griffin and attacking midfielder Issa Kamara join premier league newcomers and first round strugglers Sierra Leone Police FC on a one and half season long loan as they look to bolster their squad for the second round of the league.

Both players have started making huge impact for their new club in friendly matches with striker Griffin having scored an impressive six goals in five friendly matches, while Kamara has made two assists in three friendly matches played so far.

The duo makes it a total of four (4) AIK Freetong players currently on loan to local premier league sides, joining Mohamed Lamin Turay and Emmanuel Chilobe who have been on loan to Mighty Blackpool and SLIFA respectively since the start of the first round of the premier league.
