Afrimoney Partners With SLCTR

On Friday 12 May 2023 Afrimoney Sierra Leone limited and Sierra Leone Commercial Tricycle Riders (SLCTR) have partnered with the aim of improving the lives of kekeh riders across the country. The said partnership took place on the aforesaid date at Africell’S headquarters in Wilberforce Village, Freetown.

Explaining the motive for the agreement, Afrimoney Managing Director, Martison Obeng-Agyei said they were happy for the union between the two entities, adding that transportation is essential and that kekeh riders have not been left behind in terms of the transportation eco-system in Sierra Leone.

The MD of Afrimoney furthered that they are happy not only that the partnership will help kekeh riders, but that it will also improve the lives of everyone.

He added: ‘We are living in a digital eco-system and that if someone is not part of the digital eco-system he or she is losing greatly.’ He emphasised that the relationship will improve kekeh riders and the transport eco-system in Sierra Leone.

Mr Obeng- Agyei assured that the partnership will not be a rubber stamp, but it will improve the lives of kekeh riders in Sierra Leone.

The Afrimoney MD continued that the relationship is just the beginning of many new things to come, assuring that ‘from today, if anyone touches a kekeh rider, they touch Afrimoney’. He thanked the national executive members of the Sierra Leone Commercial Tricycle Riders.

Speaking during the ceremony, the President of SLCTR, Ibrahim Serry, thanked the management team of Afrimoney, disclosing that they were happy for the partnership with Afrimoney.

Mr Serry said Afrimoney has been a blessing and that it means a lot to them, calling it as the reason they whole heartedly decided to choose Afrimoney as their partner.

He assured that many kekeh riders will join their SIM cards to Afrimoney and they will ensure that they are included and stand tall working with Afrimoney. Mr Serry vowed to cascade the information at regional and district levels to all kekeh riders.

Buttressing, the head of Media and Marketing, Africell, John Konteh welcomed the gathering, adding that Africell is happy with the partnership. Mr Konteh said the company will continue to exist in Sierra Leone and render more services to the people.

The Head of Afrimoney’s Financial Service, Hajaratu Turay, assured that they will continue to give back to the general public and that Afrimoney is reliable and safe.

Madam Turay concluded by encouraging Sierra Leoneans to continue using Afrimoney.
