Salieu Kamara who allegedly involved in a Le22m fraud has been denied bail after his first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura.
The bail application made by the defence counsel was turned down by the court since the accused had another case file at Ross Road Police Station.
The charge sheet stated that between 1st and 31st May 2023, on White Street Brookfields in Freetown, the accused obtained Le22m from Julie Marriah by falsely pretending that he would facilitate traveling for Samuel Turay to Canada knowing same to be false.
The matter adjourned to 15th February.
