Usually reliable source has disclosed to this medium that one Ibrahim Kamara, a gay activist’s life is in danger after his family, friends and his Muslim brothers, discovered that he was deeply involved into gay activities with his childhood friend, Ishmail Kargbo and now paying for his blood.
Ibrahim kept this as a closely guarded secret, because he hails from a humble Muslim background.
Ibrahim Kamara our source says started practicing gay life at the tender age of thirteen years, while he was in class five with his class-mate, Ishmial Kargbo and they continued this unholy act up to secondary school level.
At some point, Ibrahim Kamara was residing at Ishmail Kargbo’s house and they were both attending church services together sometime in February, 2015 as a cover up to their secrets.
This medium can authoritatively reveal that between the two couples, Ishmail Kargbo happens to be the male partner, Ibrahim Kamara the female partner in their unholy alliance.
Ibrahim and Ishmal ran out of luck when they visited a night club in the eastern part of Freetown called ‘Faith in Star Night Club’ at Lowcost Housing Estate, Kissy.
They were at the night club sharing some fun, when some guys saw them kissing each other at the full view of onlookers, who shouted at them that such act is forbidden between two males in Sierra Leone.
Some revelers pounced on them but Ishmail was able to escape while Ibrahim was captured and was severely beaten outside the night club.
Police had to intervene to calm down the situation as Ibrahim Kamara was detained for five days but was subsequently released even though police could not establish any fact at that particular time that they were kissing each other.
Ibrahim Kamara was instructed by police to be reporting for further investigations.
He was told if found wanting as a gay activist, he will be sent to prison.
After the discovery by family members, religious scholars and community people that Ibrahim Kamara has been a gay activist since the tender age of thirteen years, he was disowned by his family who are pious Muslims.
His friends became very hostile to him, even other neighborhood communities too were very aggressive against him as they alleged that he has become a ‘bad apple’ for other Muslim children and as such they will not want their children to emulate someone that has gone against God.
According to police sources, Ibrahim Kamara has been declared as most wanted. Death threat was also hanging over his life as some youths within his community vowed to lynch him to death.
It was due to this reason that forced him to flee for his precious life. Up to the time of going to press, Ibrahim Kamara’s exact whereabouts are not known
