Sierra Leone leading Telecommunications Operator, Africell, last week wowed subscribers with the introduction of an unprecedented Ramadan game show dubbed “The Money Wall”.
The game according to the mobile operator requires, BRAVERY and GUSTO for risk taking. The HIGHER RISK,the GREATER the REWARD!
Africell is known for ground-breaking promotions, and this new innovative promotion has exceeded expectations.
Many, were predicting it would be a repeat of last year’s promotion. But true to their word and innovative standards set, the market leaders went for the unthinkable, challenging staff of the commercial department to go for what will excite and reward subscribers.
The game has three walls and two stages, each wall has four openings at the top numbered 1-4, and eight at the bottom assigned with cash prizes and numbers.
Subscribers qualify for the show, by either calling or sending a blank SMS to 777 which they’ll get back as bonus to be used before midnight, or by acquiring and registering a new Africell Sim card or effect transaction using Africell Money.

The next stage is where the true test of BRAVERY is situated. Subscriber would be asked to go for a HIGHER or LOWER risk.
Choosing the higher risk wall awards them the opportunity to multiply their cash winning by 0,5,8,9&10, but with greater chance of losing it .
Conversely, at low risk wall you will never loose! It has lower multipliers i.e 1,2 & 3 though.
In the event a subscriber opts for the high risk wall and loses his cash winning, they will be given an Afri-phone as a consolation prize.
The show airs on AYV and Star TVs, AiRadio 105.3FM and on all the major radio stations in the country.
