Kamboi Eagles Football Club Head Coach, Alhaji ‘Abadi’ Foray, has officially resigned yesterday, Tuesday June 22nd 2021, from his position. His resignation is as a result of the poor performance in the just suspended 2021 Premier League, where he secured eight (8) points from seven (7) games.
The Management of Kamboi Eagles Football Club confirmed receiving the letter of resignation from the Coach.
During his tenure, he won the 2014 FA Cup and took them to the CAF Confederation Cup in 2015.
From the letter, Coach Foray cited family concerns as his main reason for resigning, although he did also state that he would soon return to football as and when he deems it necessary.
“I am resigning from my position as Head Coach of Kamboi Eagles Football Club. Even though I am sure and hope that my resignation will create no inconvenience on the club (Kamboi Eagles). If by any means there is something I will do to make my transition easier, I will be humble to put forth all efforts,” he stated.
He also expressed his gratefulness to the Club, the players and technical team and the amazing fans for standing up firm with him all this while.
“I regret leaving this position, but looking forward to what the future may hold, I wish the club (Kamboi Eagles) every success and hope that our paths may cross again as friends one day,” Coach Foray stated.
In response, Kamboi Eagles Football Club said they will soon furnish the public with information as to who would take charge of the team for the remainder of the season or even beyond.
