The All Peoples Congress (APC) Party storms the Capital City of Freetown on Friday 26th January 2018 to show that they will surely win the Multi-tier General Elections scheduled to take place on the 7th March 2018. The Presidential aspirant, Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara lead the entourage of APC stalwarts, Cabinet Ministers and Parliamentarians from his residence at Malamah, Lumley to the centre of the City right across the main roads unto the East-end area of the City. With him in the entourage to name a few were his running-mate Honourable Chernoh Maju Bah (chere coco), Honourable Pat Sowe, Honourable Alpha Khan, Iyvonne Aki-Sawyeer who is also an aspirant for the position of Mayor for the Capital City of Freetown. They were all in their Party colour – RED.
Jubilant crowd clad in red outfit came out in their thousand to demonstrate their support and willingness to vote for Dr. Samura M.W. Kamara and the APC Party to win the forthcoming General Election and to continue their development work which they have started. Dancing and drumming together with loud speakers mounted on top of lorry and truck playing the APC Party Song and music by other popular musicians also form part of the rally.
Addressing the supporters after they have converged at the Siaka Stevens Stadium, Dr. Samura M.W. Kamara said that the people of Sierra Leone should vote for him and his running-mate to win the election so that they will continue the good work which the APC Party has started. They should not for the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) Julius Maada Bio whose primary intention is to come and loot the Country’s wealth and taken to another country. People should not forget that Julius Maada Bio has one time rule Sierra Leone and within three months he and his Military cohorts looted all the reserved the Country had by then in the Central Bank of Sierra Leone.
Dr. Samura Kamara said people must not be fooled with empty promises; they should Judged for themselves from the works which the APC Government has done. He further said, Maada Bio and members of his SLPP Party will just come and loot again if the people of Sierra Leone dare vote them into power.
He finally admonished APC Party supporters and sypathisers that on their way home let them go home peacefully and avoid the SLPP Party vicinity and their thugs so that there would be no fighting.
