A caretaker who identifies himself as Mohammed Thorley yesterday made his eighth appearance before Magistrate Marke Ngegba of Pademba Road Court No. 2. He was alleged by police to have murdered one Francis Ria Kelleh at Cemetery Road in Goderich.
During proceedings, the Prosecutor, A.S.P. Hawa Williams, submitted her reply in writing for a case of no submission earlier made by defense counsel on behalf of the accused.
On that note, Magistrate Ngegba states that he will commit the matter at the High Court for further trial on the next adjourned date.
The accused is charged on one count of murder, which is contrary to law. The court details state that the accused, on Monday 20th January, 2020 at Cemetery Road off Peninsular Road, Goderich in Freetown, murdered Francis Ria Kelleh.
The matter was adjourned to the 21st April 2020 for committal.
