Renowned businessman and respected football administrator Christian Dauda has expressed his determination to bring vision, direction, and desire to the game of football.

Ahead of the forthcoming Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) elective congress, scheduled for August 2, 2025, in Lungi, the former Brookfield United Sports Club Chairman, Christian Dauda, officially thrown his hat into the ring for the position of Second Vice President, emphasizing his love and passion for football is the reason he want to be part of the next administration.

“I am bringing vision, leadership, and passion to the game.” His statement sets the tone for a campaign centered on progress, unity, and sustainable football development.

Dauda, is no stranger to Sierra Leonean football. He holds the distinction of being the longest-serving Team Manager of the national team, Leone Stars, a position he held from 2014 to 2022. Under his stewardship, the team saw significant improvements in organization, morale, and international presence. His tenure is remembered for its professionalism and deep commitment to player welfare and team cohesion.

Currently, he serves as the National Men’s Teams Ambassador and International Representative—a role in which he continues to advocate for Sierra Leonean football on both the national and global stage. His wide network, strategic insight, and administrative experience position him as a formidable candidate capable of elevating the SLFA to new heights.

Beyond the national team, Dauda has also been a key figure in nurturing grassroots football. He played a pivotal role in organizing the National School Leagues, helping to lay a strong foundation for youth development. His support for local football organizations such as the Central One Football Association (COFA), Camp DIVA Youth Football Association and various community tournaments further highlights his dedication to growing the game at all levels.
