Reports reaching this press indicate that on 25 December 2021 an All People’s Congress (APC) chairlady and family at 66 Bass Street, Brookfields, Freetown, were declared wanted by the police and by the relatives of the deceased, who alleged that APC chairlady Madam Kadiatu Dumbuya is a killer.
The reports went on that the accused Madam Dumbuya and her family were on the run escaping the wrath of mob justice because of the mysterious deaths of the three children who according to them were allegedly dumped by the accused, whom they referred to as ‘an APC political ritualist’.
According to a family member, one Abdul Kargbo, he remarked that the water well was not only meant to serve Madam Dumbuya and her family but to serve the entire community since water is a challenge to the community.
Furthermore, according to sources gathered from the community, many say that the death of those children was unfortunate, but is a witch hunt levied against Madam Dumbuya because the ruling party members in power feel threatened because of her popularity in the community.
Some say they are accusing Madam Dumbuya because she is a strong member of the opposition APC, while others she might be involved in rituals because her family is excelling in the area.
Meanwhile, the Sierra Leone Police is investigating to bring the matter to justice.
