Civil Society activists, traditional leaders and youths in Senehun town, Kamajeh Chiefdom, Moyamba District are increasingly worried over the mysterious loss of a 45 year old woman in the area.
The 45 year old mysteriously disappeared some seven months ago at Senehun town.
Youths and traditional leaders were amazed that such a mysterious disappearance would occur with no clue to point at what might have happened with the 45 year old woman.
Gerald Foday, Chairman of the Civil Society Platform in the South stated that Police Investigations into the death of the 45 years old woman has not been able to make headway.
Police at Tiama Police Station in the Moyamba Police Division had interrogated and detained a number of suspects linked to the mysterious murder including a 14 years old child in the last seven months.
Youths in the village of Senehun had got into running battles with the Police over the stalled investigations regarding the missing 45 years old woman.
The youths are increasingly disappointed that the Police Investigations have not been able to arrest and prosecute any suspects regarding the mysterious loss.
Efforts by the traditional rulers to also use traditional means to discover the mysterious death of the forty five (45) year old woman had failed to yield dividend.
Foday says this is not the first time that such mysterious disappearances of people are happening at the Kamajeh and the surrounding chiefdoms in Moyamba District.
