A reliable source has intimated this press that the sledge hammer will soon descend on under-performing ministers and bring in competent men to deliver services to the people.
SLPP (Sierra Leone People’s Party) ministers, for too long, have reneged on their mandate although performance contracts are in place, and President Julius Maada Bio has been giving them time to see if they could wake up from their slumber. However, the state of affairs remains the same with the mass majority on the wrong end, but President Bio is fighting for a turnaround.
President Bio has recently dissolved his advisory council whose members have been accused of receiving kickbacks from incompetent and less-performing ministers. At the moment, government is scratching its head to have capable hands in his administration to normalise the state of affairs.
