BEWARE OF CROOK REVERENDS!
The public is hereby warned in their own interests that fake pastors and reverends are all over the country in these days of austerity to seek for a living. Man must live oh! It is stated in the Bible that the devil goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour. Some citizens fall prey to the gimmicks of such lions in Bo recently. They were charged to court and they told the magistrate that they were disappointed by Disporans.
Though church and state are separate it does not mean that crimes by persons who pose to be priests should not be brought to book. Let it be known that there are about 150 denominations in this country and there may be more fake pastors and churches that the genuine ones. You should always try to find out the credentials of impostors. Check if they belong to well-known churches. If possible check on their bishops provided the bishops themselves are not fake. If possible attend services of well-known churches before you part with your hard-earned money. You have been warned!
EDSA SQUANDERS SUBSCRIPTIONS
It has now been made known that EDSA’s agent who was entrusted with ordering for meters squandered some of the money and is trying to refund it which is why the unconscionably long time that it has taken for subscribers to get their meters for which they have paid.
Fortunately for the agent he is covered by the powers that be and there is no way he can be sued. All the subscribers are told is, “The meters will arrive soon.” Is it Kwame Nkurmah’s soon that never happened as he never returned to Ghana? Let’s hope not.
POLITICAL GHENTO
It looks like Ghento is more skilled in paving the road for the SLPP to win by-elections than paving the way for people to travel. Was he not reported to have influenced the success of the SLPP in a by-election in the provinces?
The people of the Western Area Rural especially in Waterloo and Hastings have been tantalized. These are gaping pools all over the place in the guise of streets. As the rainy season approaches residents in these areas are downhearted and disillusioned.
EXAM CHEATS GO FREE?
Just what is happening in this Republic is simply enigmatic. Scores of students are found cheating at exams. They are arrested and taken to the CID. Some of their principals are also taken in. Very soon the principals who had been amassing wealth during the APC years are set free because the palms of the police are greased. What is the future of such schools? Is the same practice going to be allowed to continue during the next sittings of the WAEC? How is this paopa government going to put a full stop to this practice? Corruption, corruption!
