THE FATE OF ISHA JOHANSON
The history of Isha Johanson as the first female President of SLFA is still being written.
Whether her acquittal and that of her Secretary was due to backstage political influences cannot be fathomed by those outside judicial circles.
Her election to that office was controversial and she has been blamed for the suspension of Sierra Leon from world football by FIFA.
She was not elected for life and there is an election pending. Many football fans would wish her good riddance.
See how Sierra Leone has missed the ongoing Finals of the African Cup of Nations .There is however an appeal by ACC that filed the case of corruption against them.
It is not known what will happen if ACC wins the appeal and Isha & Secretary Kamara are finally removed, therefore the fate of Isha Johanson hangs in the balance.
VEHICLE NO.PLATES
Numbers are placed on vehicles for purposes of identification and breaches of the law.
The Head of State in his fight against corruption ordered at the beginning of his government that vehicles and officials should not be exempted from any government orders.
Alas some high up officials or those who think they would continue to do things according to the old order have been misbehaving.
They cover their number plates especially at night to evade detection of their crimes by the police. And the old order police are afraid of demotions or sackings from above, only for doing the right thing.
All these crimes are committed by top notch military and police or civilian officials who are virtually APC officials bent on sabotaging the New Direction.
Will the Inspector General see that there is general inspection of all covered number plates to reduce crime ?
THEFT OF SOLAR LIGHTS
As at now, solar lights are the cheapest source of light and it is likely to be available in most homes soon.
Government has done well even in the bad APC times to provide street lights in many places so that crime will be reduced and people will easily find their way.
But ah! Kleptomaniacs are on the rampage .One thing that baffles city peep is that we do not hear of anyone being caught in the act.
This encourages more thieving because nobody is being caught .In developed countries, there are solar lights but we do not hear of this sort of thing.
What the Inspector General can do is to send his men and women abroad to study how to catch solar thieves.
This will save the government millions of Leones that could be used for development in other sections or the provision of more solar lights.
DONALD TRUMPH CROSSESS THE RED LINE
Donald Trumph is an unpredictable character .He can change his opinion on the spur of the moment.
The Dalai Lama recently described him as lacking moral principles.
Former President Obama also described him as emotionally unfit for that office.
But in his unpredictability he has done what no other United States President has done.
He crossed the demarcated area into North Korea. If he can cause that pariah country to cease nuclear tests he may just pull it off and be re-elected.
