Chairman of East-End Lions Football Club, Ambassador Anthony Navo Jr. has officially announced the commencement of a long-awaited artificial turf project at the Trade Centre playing ground.
Navo highlighted the club’s commitment to progress as materials and contractors have been mobilised for the construction of a cutting-edge pitch at the Trade Centre.
He confirmed the arrival of the necessary equipment and contractors in Sierra Leone signaling the beginning of construction for the state of the art facility fulfilling a two-year promise.
“Today is the start of this journey and I am delighted to see to this project finally come to fruition, many thanks to everyone including elders, players, fans, executives. We look forward to seeing the final results,” Chairman Navo stated.
