Magistrate John Manso Fornah at Pademba Road Court No.2 in Freetown has ordered for a subpoena against the absent prosecution witnesses in the ongoing trial case involving Emerson Adrian Wilson a 25 years old Labourer of Yellow House, Regent Village who made another appearance before court no.2 on Thursday, 17th September, 2026, on a count charge of House breaking and larceny contrary to section 26(1) of the larceny act 1916.
According to the Particular of offence , that you Emerson Adrian Wilson on the thursday 16 july , 2026 at no.7 pyke street , regent village freetown , in the mountain judicial district in the western area of the republic of Sierra Leone with intent to steal broke and entered into the dwelling house of janet Wallace-johnson and stole therein: one Samsung tablet valued two hundred and fifth united state dollar $250 which is equivalent to five thousand nine hundred and twentyfive leone le, (5, 925 )one samsung galaxy tab A9 android phone valuab two hundred and fifty united state dollar ($250)which is equivalent to five thousand and nine hundred and twenty five leine (5, 925)and one solar power bank valued fifty united state dollar ($ 50) which is equivalent to one thousand , one hundred and eighty five leones (1, 185) all sum of five hundred and fifty united state dollar ($5, 50) which is equivalent to thirteen thousand and thirty five leones (13, 035) property of the said janet Wallace-johnson
When the charge was read and explained to the defendant, no plea was taken because it is a committal proceedings
The prosecutor police constable 18235 Thoronka k. stated that he has served the defendant counsel with a copy of the file and revealed that prosecution witnesses were absent

Meanwhile, magistrate fornah has ordered for a subprena to be served on the absent prosecution witnesses and adjourned the matter to 24th September 2026, for further proceedings
