A Magistrate court in Freetown has sentenced Baber Conteh to three months imprisonment for malicious damage and disorderly behaviour contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone.
The jail term will be served at the male correctional centre on Pa Demba Road in Freetown, and the court also ordered the convict to compensate complainant, Dwight Younge.
It was alleged by the police that the convict, on Wednesday 27th September, 2023 at Regent Road in Lumely, Freetown, maliciously damaged complainant’s window and corrugated iron sheet valuedLe309, 000 (three hundred and nine Leones).
The accused pleaded guilty when the charge was read to him and appealed for mercy.
