The Sierra Leone Gymnastics Federation (SLGF) has congratulated young gymnast, Fatima Bah on her impressive achievement of winning back-to-back Meapa Gymnastics’ under the sea competition in the United States of America.
Fatima Bah, Daughter of Sierra Leone’s Peace Ambassador, Alhaji Amadu Bah alias King Boss La scooped the prestigious Meapa Gymnastics championship for the second time in a row (2024 and 2025), with an exceptional performance that amazed the referees, judges, coaches and everyone at the .
Lulu Bah as she is fondly called achievement demonstrates exceptional skill, dedication, and consistency, and is a significant milestone in her athletic career.
Upon receiving the good news, the Sierra Leone Gymnastics Federation expressed their pride in the gymnast’s performance and offer encouragement for future competitions.
SLGF’s President Anna Williams emphasized that Bah’s success would not have been possible without countless hours of training, the unwavering support of her family, and the understanding and flexibility provided by her school in the USA. Balancing her academic responsibilities with intensive training was no small feat.
“The Gymnastics family is proud of her stellar performance and wishes her continued success in her pursuit of excelling in gymnastics so that she can represent Sierra Leone in the future,” Williams stated.
The Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Gymnastics Federation, Alhaji Maddi Bangura heaped praises on the promising young gymnast for her recent achievement of winning a championship title for the second consecutive year.
“This back-to-back victory highlights the gymnast’s exceptional skill, dedication, and consistency in the sport. We hope she will keep it up and continue to train hard so that she will represent us in future international competitions.
