The All Peoples Congress final rally, in Freetown yesterday, witnessed all business entities and other sectors of the business community coming to a halt.
The Presidential candidate of the APC, Dr. Samura Kamara, was ambushed by huge crowds from the east of the capital, Freetown, whiles his running mate, Cherinor Bah, who started from the west end of Freetown also ended up coming from the east.
Different sets of people, from all works of life, young, old and the youths, came out in numbers to witness the APC rally.
A former parliamentarian of the SLPP, who prefers anonymity, informed this media that the ruling APC party has maintained its dominance in Freetown and they are still capable of maintaining all parliamentary and council seats in Freetown.
The SLPP came out in numbers on Monday in what was dubbed as a One million man March, but yesterday’s rally far surpassed the opposition party’s turnout during its rally.
