The Freetown Terminal Limited (FTL) has on Tuesday 19th March 2019 held its Board of Directors Meeting for 2019 at the Bollore Transport and Logistics House, College Road, Cline Town in Freetown.
The meeting has representatives from the Government of Sierra Leone in the person of the Chairman for the National Commission on Privatization, Mr. Napoleon Koroma and other officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Freetown Terminal Limited was represented by officials from Bollore Transport Logistics.
The Board of Directors meeting is held annually pursuant to the Companies Act, where audited financial statements of the company are discussed. The meeting also serves as a platform to look at progress on the part of GOSL and Bollore in executing the concessional agreement.
Bollore Transport and Logistics has recently completed and commissioned a 120 Million United States dollars Port Expansion Project in the country and the Freetown Terminal now serves as a hub for the sub region with increased capacity, new equipment and improved turnaround time for vessels.
