As part of their corporate social responsibility and love for their valid customers, Orange Mobile Company one of the leading mobile companies in Sierra Leone which commenced its operations in the country in 2016, has yesterday dished out promotion packages to five winners of the “special Sunakati Promotion” at a press conference held at the company’s Headquarters, Hill Station, West of Freetown.
Winners of the Sunakati Promotion include a contractor, Emmanuel Conteh, Mamy Yamah, a teacher of the Arahin Primary School in Kenema, Ibrahim Kabba, retired teacher from Bo, Dr. Matthew S. Kamara, a lecturer at UNIMAC Makeni and Musab Baly, Director of Ataa Organisation also in Makeni.
The five winners won each a year food items and five million Leones each (Le 5 million) .
Giving the overview of the promotion, Shiek O. Jalloh stated that the “special Sunakati Promotion” is part of the company’s corporate social responsibilities in giving back to their society especially so when the company is in full gear to ensure that their customers get back what they have given to the company.
According to Shiek O. Jalloh, the Orange Sunakati Promotion started way back on 2nd May, 2017 disclosing that since then the company has transformed the lives of its customers as part of their contribution in developing their lives and families.
Sheik Jalloh continued that the special Sunakati promotion over the past two weeks has attracted over 405 winners through their daily, weekly, monthly and yearly promotions which shows that the company is not only here to rip the people but to give back to society.
He continued that customers have also enjoyed 48 hours unlimited Orange to Orange calls.
“Sunakati promotion is a big success, Sierra Leoneans enjoy the promotion and many have lauded the company’s strides in giving back to society” he said.
The Chief Executive Officer of Orange Money, Mr. David Mansaray expressed thanks and appreciation for the patience of the five winners of the one year “Special Sunakati Promotion”.
Mr. David Mansaray informed his audience that Orange Company is always geared towards improving the lives of people in more precious and better ways.
He expressed his company’s commitment to provide not only services or bonus to their customers but to those customers that use Orange money.
The General Secretary Orange Money, Hafi Hafner, disclosed that Orange big brand came into Sierra Leone in 2016 adding that the company has engaged in connectivity in order to meet the needs of its customers, especially in giving back to the society.
Hafi Hafner says this is the first time in the history of Sierra Leone for a mobile company to feed customers for the rest of one year adding that Orange is very caring about its customers and that “Orange is very relevant to their customers and we shall continue to give relevance to our numerous customers”.
A winner, Mamy Yamah a teacher of the Arahin Primary School in Kenema expressed thanks and appreciation to Orange Company for the gesture.
“I was very angry when I received an Orange call thinking that it was those 419ers who rob people, but because of persistent call from Orange staff, I finally picked it up and even when I picked up the calls, I did not even have confidence that the items and money I was told I have won is true,” she said.
Another lucky winner, Dr. Matthew S. Kamara, a lecturer at UNIMAC Makeni also thanked Orange for the gesture and promised to be Ambassador for Orange in Makeni and its environs.
