A new Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games ticket consultation has been created to help sports fans discover their next obsession- from soaking up the electric atmosphere of a 3×3 Basketball or 3×3 Wheelchair Basketball game to watching the drama unfold in a Judo match or measuring the careful precision in a Bowls or Para Bowls tournament.

As Glasgow gets ready to stage the biggest sporting event in the UK this year, Glasgow 2026 has launched the Big Ticket Drop-In, offering a free ‘consultation’ that pairs fans to a Glasgow 2026 sport. Fans will be asked to answer a series of questions, including their favourite meals, perfect holiday and desired superpower before revealing which of the 10 sports on the Glasgow 2026 programme matches their personality.

The Big Ticket Drop In will be on Buchanan Street on Friday 13 March with Games mascot, Finnie the unicorn inviting Glasgow to get involved. Fans will also get a first glimpse of the magical Finnie Mobile, the official car of the Glasgow 2026 mascot. The pink and purple fully electric BYD vehicle features nods to the hooved hypemaster with traffic cones and stars.

George Black CBE, Chair at Glasgow 2026, said: “Glasgow 2026 will be a Games like no other with a schedule packed full of medal moments. One of the greatest elements of a multi-sport event, such as the Commonwealth Games, is the opportunity to discover a new sport for the first time. With 10 sports and six Para sports on the programme, there’s something for everyone.

“The Games will totally captivate the nation during a spectacular summer of sport and Glasgow 2026 has launched a new initiative, the Big Ticket Drop-In, to help new fans to discover a sport that they can become obsessed with this summer. I would encourage anyone in Glasgow City Centre, to drop along to Buchanan Street to meet Finnie or to take part in the quiz online and get ready to secure your ticket for the Games.”
