Since 2016, a case of “Missing Person” was filed with the Sierra Leone Police for Umu Giba Jalloh, who is believed to have absconded from her No. 9 Kambaima Street home in Kono.
At the time of her disappearance, she was 33-year-old and she was last seen wearing a blue blouse and black jeans.
A young Sierra Leonean woman, Umu Jalloh has gone into hiding to avoid threat from the ‘Bondo’ society.
She is 4 feet 8 inches tall, black in complexion with black thick hair. She is a Sierra Leonean Fullah by tribe and a Muslim. She speaks Fullah, Temne, and Kono fluently. Also she has slight problems in her right hand.
If Umu Giba Jalloh is seen around the community which was her usual hunt; her aunty, Sia Kemoh of No. 56 Melon Street at Wellington, says she should be contacted.
