Guinean National Docked for Theft

Mohammed Bah, a Guinean National, on Wednesday 26th February 2020 made his third appearance before Magistrate Hannah Bonnie ofCcourt No.1 at Pademba Road in Freetown for allegedly stealing a jeep worth eighty million Leones (Le80,000,000) belonging to the proprietor of Jui Guest House Tamba Raymond Gbeki.
The accused, according to Police, also stole thirty-five million Leones (Le35,000,000) belonging to Sahr Morsay, Manager of the Guest House.
The accused person was charged with two counts of larceny and obtaining money by false pretences.
The charge sheet indicated that the accused person on Friday 16th September 2019 at Jui Guest House, along the Freetown Waterloo Highway, stole one jeep with registration number ANI 767 valued at eighty million Leones being property of Tamba Raymond Gbeki proprietor of Jui Guest House.
The charge sheet further indicated that the accused person, on the same day at the same place, incurred debt to Sahr Morsay through fraudulent means.
The accused person was remanded in custody by the Magistrate and the matter comes up on 5th March 2020.
