Justice Manuela Harding, one of the High Court Judges in Sierra Leone, yesterday, at the Ross Road High Court, cautioned and admonished Lawyer Koroma who, according to her, made a call to her on the 6th December 2020, 2020, with regards the ongoing matter before her.
“It was my time to rest,” she told Lawyer Koroma. She added that Lawyer Koroma had called her and opted to give a lunch treat as if she had not been taking lunch at home.
Justice Harding asked senior barristers, Lawyer Komba and Mr. Musa, to caution him not to do such again. She said Lawyer Koroma wanted to tarnish her reputation, which she had built for the past twenty years or so.
“Did I tell you that I do not eat lunch at home? Do you think that this profession is a trade?” She asked Lawyer Koroma.
When Lawyer Koroma attempted to put up defence, she got madder and instantly ordered OSD personnel to get him arrested and detained. With the help of other senior lawyers, Lawyer Koroma later apologized on his behalf.
