The Sierra Leone Senior Women’s Cricket Team have qualified for Division-1 after winning four straight matches in the ongoing ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Division 2 Qualifier taking place in Gaborone Botswana.

On Wednesday, the Ladies faced host Botswana and beat them by 5 wickets to set a tie with Malawi on Thursday, a match they won by six wickets and broke a long-standing Division-1 entry spell. They will face Rwanda on Saturday in the final for a fight to win second gold in three months.

As it is now, Emma Kamara is up to win the tournament top-run scorer, leading such a chart with 134 runs in three innings with an average of 67.00. Skipper Aminata Kamara is topping the batting strike rates chart, recording 156.36 in three innings.

In 2025, the Ladies Patriots are redefining their three-time NWACC gold glory on Gaborone soil, where they lifted the first cup this year.
