Kadijah Saccoh’s Murder Trial Adjourned

The ongoing murder trial of late Kadija Madinatu Saccoh came up yesterday again before Magistrate Marke Ngegba of Court No 2, but was adjourned due to the absence of a witness in court.

The state prosecutor, Yusuf Sesay, told the court that he was instructed by the substantial prosecutor, Joseph Sesay, to seek for a date on his behalf, as he was at the Appeal Court in another matter.

He informed magistrate Ngegba that the witnesses will be in court on the next adjourned date. The matter comes up on the 26th August 2020.

The accused are arranged on two counts of conspiracy to murder and murder and murder, which offences are all contrary to law.

The charge sheet indicates that the accused, Mariama Sajor Barrie and Ibrahim Bah, on Wednesday 17 June 2020 at Spur Road in Freetown, conspired together with other persons unknown to murder Kadija Madinatu Saccoh.
