Magistrate Abdul Sheriff of the Freetown Magistrate Court No. 7 has granted one Ismail Mansaray thirty million Leones(Le 30,000,000) bail, which should be approved by the Deputy Master and Registrar and two sureties who should have residences within the judicial district.
The accused was before the court on one count of sexual penetration of a child, contrary to section 19 of the Sexual Offences Act No. 12 of 2012.
The particulars of offence state that, Ishmeal Mansaray, on the 15th July 2018, at Thunder Hill Road Kissy in Freetown, sexually penetrated a child below the age of eighteen years, to wit fourteen years.
Magistrate Abdul Sheriff has the committed matter to a juvenile court. The matter was adjourned to 5thOctober, 2018.
