Sallu Jalloh is answering to charges of malicious damage in a court in Freetown presided over by Magistrate Mark Ngegba.
Jalloh who is accused of malicious damage and larceny of property worth millions of Leones has made his second appearance.
Police record shows that Sallu Jalloh, on 25th December 2021 at Dwazark Community in Freetown maliciously damaged one locker valued Le70, 000 (seventy thousand Leones), stole a Samsung Galaxy, slippers, the sum of Le3m (three million Leones) valued Le 11,350, 000 (eleven million, three hundred and fifty thousand Leones), a DVD player and other assorted items valued Le1,700,000 (one million seven hundred thousand Leones, and other assorted items all to the total value of Le10,850, (ten million, eight hundred and fifty thousand Leones) belonging to Abu Bakarr Samura.
The court did not continue with the case as prosecution witnesses were absent leaving the prosecutor, Bonah Baindu with an option of applying for an adjournment.
Sub-Inspector Baindu promised to bring her witnesses in court at the next date.
The court accepted the prosecutor’s application, and granted the accused bail in the sum of Le50, 000,000 (fifty million Leones) to be approved by the Deputy Assistant Registrar.
The matter comes up on 29th March.
