A 26 year old man, who identified himself as John Kamara, yesterday made his first appearance in court before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Court No.1 for allegedly killing Isata Sankoh at Mountain Cut.
The accused is arraigned on a count of murder, which is contrary to law. The court details allege that the accused, on Wednesday 26th December, 2018, at Mountain Cut in Freetown, murdered Isata Sankoh.
After the charges were read to the accused he pleaded not guilty of the offence. The police prosecutor, A.S.P. Eric Deen, sought for an adjournment.
The accused was denied bail and the matter was adjourned to the 14th February, 2019.
