Must read

By Emmanuel C. Thorli

Workers of the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) have hailed the newly appointed Director General of the Trust, Mr. Mohamed Fuaad Daboh, describing him as a down to earth personality who fully understands the plight of workers.

Mr. Daboh, who replaces Mr. Joseph Sedu Mans, was Deputy Director and Head of Human Resources at NASSIT.

The new Director General, who takes up office today after having successfully gone through the Parliamentary Committee on Appointments and the Public Service on Tuesday, is bringing a lot of experience, especially so as it relates to the management of the human resources of the Trust, an area where he has spent most of the time in the institution.

Many workers and customers view his appointment as a huge relief to the workers due to the fact that the new DG is very much au fait with the human resource and administrative challenges facing the institution over the years, and has what it takes to handle all those issues to the betterment of the institution and the country.
