Our own Nightwatch Newspaper, AYV and the nation’s broadcaster, Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC), were among the proud recipients of the Environmental Care 2019 Awards over the weekend at the Miatta Conference Hall in Freetown, organized by Shout Climate Change Africa and Environment Protection Agency (EPA).
The three institutions were among several diplomats, institutions and outstanding individuals who have worked tirelessly to either promote the works of environmental organizations or have themselves contributed in terms of policy initiatives to protect our Environment.
Nightwatch Sierra Leone was singlehandedly recognized for promoting the work of Shout Climate Change Africa and its partners such as the European Union in their strides to undertake different programs such as the beach cleaning and other important events.
Managing Editor and Proprietor Nightwatch Sierra Leone while receiving the Environmental Care Award thanked the organizers and assured them of his institution’s further commitment to promote the work of EPA and Shout Climate Change Africa.
