After having succeeded in thwarting the Port Loko Delegates’ Convention in the north-western city of Port Loko early this year; the National Reformation Movement (NRM) has now taken their mischief to the Washington Metropolitan Chapter of the All People’s Congress (APCWMC) in the United States of America.
This time, the NRM wants to dismantle the senior members of USA who have sacrificed so much for the APCWMC in Washington. And the person they want to use to do their mischief is Abu Bakarr M. Koroma alias “Abu Ball Yei” who is a well known political prostitute.
Abu Bakarr M. Koroma alias “Abu Ball Yei” only joined the Washington Metropolitan Chapter (APCWMC) in 2017 with a back-dated membership from his best friend who is the national chairman of APCUSA. He is one of the sponsors of the NRM Group in Washington USA, and him and his sponsors have been fighting the APC National Executives in Sierra Leone.
Now because the NRM faction within the APCUSA knows that they will lose the elections this Saturday (tomorrow) Chairman Unisa Kanu wants to postpone the elections only in Washington to favour NRM’s “Abu Ball Yei”.
What is interesting is the fact that all other chapters, without NRM, have conducted theirs but just few hours to Washington Metropolitan Chapter elections, Chairman Unisa Kanu and co want to deliberately postpone them to buy time to rig them in favour of NRM’s Abu Bakarr M. Koroma alias “Abu Ball Yei” after realizing that NRM will lose woefully.
Investigations conducted by this press show that the out-going president is supporting these NRM guys such as Sunday Moses; Idrissa Tarawally (who is the younger brother of Sorie Tarawally the NRM lawyer in the USA), and “Abu Ball Yei”.
Many political observers in Sierra Leone believe that it will be disastrous for the APC to allow someone like “Abu Ball Yei”, who only joined the APC because he thought the party would win the 2018 elections, to head such an important chapter of the APC in the US.
“Maybe, the SLPP is using these NRM guys to destabilize the APC in America”, said one political observer yesterday.
