In a bid to give back to their customers, the leading telecommunications company, Orange SL, has commemorated a promotion, “Next Alagba Campaign”, to make lives easy for their customers.
The campaign was launched on 3rd March, 2024.
Speaking during the ceremony, Marketing Manager of Orange Money, Elizabeth Walker, said the campaign is commemorated as a way for their customers to understand what the campaign is all about.
Madam Walker assured that through the campaign, customer or customers can be the Next Alagba as long as they are using Orange Money, to buy data, EDSA top up, Guma and any other bills through Orange Money.
Within the four months, she said a customer can be the Next Alagba and win a business worth three hundred thousand new leones (NLe300,000) or three hundred million old leones (Le300,000,000) each month.
She assured that for the next 120 days, they will dish out or give food stuff or items out every day to a customer, a process that would last for a month, adding that every week they will give foodstuffs to three customers who will emerge as the Next Alagbas, which will last for three months.
Madam Walker asserted that they are willing and ready for any economic situation as they know that their customers, both Christians and Muslims, are observing their fast and that fast needed food and they wanted their customers to be the Next Alagbas.
She assured customers to become the Next Alagba to own a big business.
She said customers can part take in the campaign or promotion when they pay EDSA top up bill, DSTV bill and water bill. He assured that there is a lot of packages in the campaign.
She said customers also enjoy a discount when they buy fuel from any Conex Filling Station nationwide.
She said the daily draw will be aired on Monday from Epic Radio while the monthly draw will start on 16th March, 2024 and aired on SLBC TV where a customer or customers stand a chance to win Le300,000,000 or NLe300,000.
The draws she said will last for four months.
She said Alagba in our local dialect means ‘Big man’.
Orange Money’s Customer Experience Director, Alpha Bundu, said the campaign is to show their customers that they can be the ‘Next Alagba’ adding that being that the world is going digital they wanted to make sure that no one is left behind in the digital transformation.
Mr. Bundu stated that Organe Money has been in existence for almost 7- 10 years now and that is the reason they wanted the community to know about them.
He emphasised that it is important for the community to know about this effort, which cannot only be done in an office setting.
Mr. Bundu assured that they valued each of their customers because without them, they would not live.
Chief Marketing Officer of Orange Money SL, Felix Macauley, buttressed that as long as customer or customers are using Orange Money SL to buy data and other services, ‘you stand a chance to be the Next Alagba’.
He said Orange Money SL wanted to change their customers’ lives from where they are now to a much bigger level.
Therefore, he encouraged customers to dial #144# to buy top up, EDSA top up, recharge their phone through Orange Money SL, and buy at any supermarket to stand a chance to be the Next Alagba and own a business worth NLe 300,000 or Le300,000,000, or draw.
