Sierra Leone’s leading telecoms company, Orange Sierra Leone has commenced its annual Environmental Health and Safety Week celebration in Freetown.
The celebration which started yesterday 2nd, April, 2023 was held under the theme: ‘Taking sustainable steps to reduce our carbon footprint .’
The day is set aside to help raise awareness on environmental safety and protection for the common good.
The week-long celebration will be marked by series of activities to demonstrate our environmental responsibility.
The planting of 1000 trees by employees and external stakeholders, desk plants competition and EHS week day symposium will be key events that will form part of the occasion.
