Orange Sierra Leone, one of Sierrra Leone’s leading GSM operators has launched the Spak offer for students and pupils across the country.
The ‘Spak’ offer will capacitate students and pupils in Sierrra Leone to be familiar with the internet which will aid them in their studies.
Le250 is the minimum while Le 15,000 is the maximum for the purchase of megabites with a 50% bonus for each purchase.
The launching ceremony which took place at St. Joseph Secondary School for Girls in Freetown attracted personalities from various walks of life.

The Project aims at supporting the Free Quality Education Project launched by President Julius Maada Bio. The launching was preceded by a fanfare of music and entertainments by comedians and acrobats.
Sheik Umar Jalloh is the mass marketing and Bundles executive project leader at Orange Sierrra Leone.
The project leader explained that the desire to launch the Spak offer was informed by a survey Orange Sierra Leone conducted last year. “During the survey, we discovered that a great number of pupils cannot browse the internet,” Jalloh said.
The project leader encouraged the pupils to furnish them with their numbers so that they could enjoy the benefit the Spak offer saying: “This is the moment to start with Orange Company.”

Jalloh also assured the pupils that the project would be taken to various secondary schools in the country hoping that the pupils would make good use of the Spak as it would improve their learning.
Orange Sierra Leone is increasingly contributing to empowering school pupils in the country either by providing them with menstrual hygiene kits to help keep them in schools or attending to their innovation and technological needs with view to prepare them for the 21st century job market.
