The League which started yesterday saw competing teams locking horns in Kenema, Kono, Bo and Freetown in home and away encounters.
The fourteen teams competing in the league have for the past few days signed players, coaches, supporters and players’ jerseys ahead of the start of the league on Wednesday.
The sudden involvement of Orange Sierra Leone into promoting this year’s premier league was not a surprise to many as the company has always prided itself in promoting the Sierra Leonean cause.
Its footprints are not only in the fields of education, health, environment, women’s empowerment and financial inclusion, but also in the field of sport.
