Must read

The leading telecoms company, Orange Sierra Leone (OSL) has condemned and denied having no contractual relationship with Super Advertis, assuring that they don’t have any frozen account that belongs to the company on their Orange Money platform.

The release further stated that Orange Money agents, dealers and partners are restricted by the scope of their contractual operations. “We are obligated by regulation to take necessary action to mitigate such risk in the interest of protecting our customers,” the release reads in part.

The release notes that customers who transact on the said website have been urged to contact the respective agents through whom the payment was made for refund processing if necessary. Where an agent encounters challenges, OSL assures, in the daily operational activities they are aware of the procedure to follow by contacting Orange Mobile Finance Back-Office.

They admitted that there had been some incitement on social media on behalf of super advertiS for the public to vandalise their premises and properties. OSL strongly admonishes Super Advertis to desist from encouraging such inciting comments as Orange SL prides itself to act within and uphold rigour of the law to protect their employees and assets.

Any company that is legally registered in Sierra Leone has the option to establish a partnership with their company. OSL reassures the public that Orange Mobile Finance remains an intentionally reputable company that operates with highest ethical standards in accordance with laws and regulations.
