Ibrahim Sorie Kamara, a-25 year old of 35 Sorie Town, Wellington, has been declared wanted by the Sierra Leone Police. Ibrahim is a security guard who is attached to the Custom Department at the Queen Elizabeth II Quay commonly referred to as ‘Water Quay’.
According to the Sierra Leone Police, Ibrahim is being declared wanted for allegations of being the main suspect of theft at the Custom Department store. The allegation furthered that after a particular consignment which contained over three hundred (300) cartons of illegal drugs and other items worth over Eighty Thousand United States Dollars (US$80,000) in cash, was arrested from a certain drug dealer and was kept at the Custom Department store.
According to source, Ibrahim was working on an early shift with another security guard by the name of Martin and that there were also two other guards who were working the nightshift.
