There is a looming political war in the offing that pits the kingdom of God versus the kingdom of evil. The Lord has decided to step in and save the day. It is He that elects and deposes leaders for the sake and love of His people by their votes. Sierra Leone is God’s sheep pen. It is He that sends us our shepherd. His Chosen One will enter the pen by the gate; he will not enter any other way.
Before he became shepherd our incumbent tried many times to enter the sheep pen even after he wasn’t supposed to. After 1996 he returned and tried several times without success. He literally bulldozed his way into God’s kingdom, taking it by force. He came in making promises the Lord allowed to be exposed for what they were; lies! Now that we have seen all the evils of this regime, a war of the worlds is about to take place.
We all know that it is not easy to uproot entrenched evil practised for decades. It is indeed a herculean task, a literal war of the worlds. But this task is actually possible as it will be the work of the Almighty.
People, no condition is permanent. Struggles and trials may last only but for a while. So it is with evil. It will be ceased wherever it exists. Hardships and sufferings, shootings and court trials will end; they have a termination date. The day for hardship to end and peace and prosperity to return has been set. The Lord has set it for 24 June 2023. That will be the day good triumphs evil.
The people of Sierra Leone should know that the unexpected always happens and will continue to happen until the end of time. Evil men will be exposed for their evil deeds and the righteous would have been vindicated.
My country people, our shepherd didn’t enter by the gate into the sheepfold after having gone beyond his legally allotted number of times. Since he forced his way in, he disturbed the natural order, and the Lord allowed it. This wasn’t his time. Had it been our shepherd’s time the Lord would have blessed this regime with success even in the midst of global crises. Even if the world was coming to an end this regime would have been a success as the Lord would have allowed them to accomplish all they had promised. The Lord showed his displeasure with this regime by setting roadblocks in its path. Based on all their promises and claims of fulfilling them and what have actually transpired while in government, this regime is our worse yet. The gains that were made were made by God to lessen His people’s sufferings. The Lord will always leave us a remnant no matter the onslaught.
This political battle between the kingdom of God and evil is not a witch hunt. It is necessary for the Lord to raise from among us a man after His heart who will love His land and people. Someone has risen from grass to grace, from relative obscurity to national and international prominence. Just as how the Lord took the kingship from the house of Saul to the house of David, the Lord had our Samuel (EBK) unveil our David (Dr Samura Kamara) back then, but the shock of his revelation was too much for the nation of Israel to handle. It was time for the man of destiny to shine but the kingdom of evil was allowed to prevail for the Lord to sort out the false shepherd of the people leading them in a New Direction from the Lord’s actual direction.
Despite the renewed vigor of the incumbent that he will win the elections (maybe he knows something we don’t?), the kingdom of God will still prevail. The revelation or unveiling of the nation’s true shepherd is destined to take place on 24 June. He will prevail despite the insurmountable odds he has been forced to overcome because he will say “my kingdom is not of this world”.
In this war between the kingdoms of good and evil, good will always win; evil cannot be allowed to triumph over good. They might win a battle or even running battles but at the end the war will be won on the side of the Lord. Everything they try will not prosper against him; he will scale every wall. Our shepherd will tread all over the power of the enemy and nothing shall harm him. He was and still is the Lord’s anointed as Saul had failed the Lord. He promised to take care of the Lord’s sheep and the pen, but all he did was kill them, starve them and then tighten the legal spaces around them. He made the sheep pen smaller instead of enlarging it.
The political war between the two kingdoms, God’s and the enemy’s, good and evil has long been in the making since David (Dr Samura) was first anointed by Samuel (EBK). But the day of the Lord’s shepherd will come 27 days from today.
