Revealed… Over 100 Former Government Officials To Face COI

The second prosecution witness (PW2), at the ongoing Thompson’s Commission of Enquiry in Freetown, Samuel Bangura of Cabinet Secretariat, State House, has presented to the Commission a list of cabinet ministers, deputies and Ministers of State, President and Vice President, who served the Government of Sierra Leone in such positions from November 2007 to April, 2018 to the Commission.
According to the lead counsel, Robert Kowa, the 100 Government officials, tendered before the Commission, will be used to invite individuals of interest before the Commission.
Morie Lansana, from the Auditor General’s Department, another witness, that testified also by presenting audited reports from 2007 to 2017.
Sulay Conteh, from the Government Printing Department, presented to the Commission of Enquiry the supplements of the Commissions of Enquiry.
Due to the unavailability of two witnesses, lead counsel, Mr. Robert Kowah, asked for an adjournment, which was granted. Proceedings were adjourned to Monday 11th February,2019.
