Reports say the Arabic scholar was killed at a secret society bush in Bumbuna called “Orkorlong”.
Police sources further told this medium that the secret bush was staged near the Bumbuna waterfalls and it was alleged that the deceased had went to the area to spy on the society bush.
The young man was reported to have left Sierra Leone for Senegal to continue with his studies and later returned to Sierra Leone where he had since been settling with his family until he met his untimely death.
Superintendent Fambulleh said that all of this is happening against a ban on all secret societies by the Local Government Ministry.
He noted that the local authorities had vehemently refused to adhere to the orders of the Ministry of Local Government.
LUC Fambulleh also disclosed that the postmortem result had shown that the deceased had developed multiple fractures. The deceased, he went on, has been taken to the Magburaka Government Hospital together with the nine suspects.
The nine suspects, under Police custody, include the youth Chairman and Chiefdom Speaker of Dansogoia.
