The Sierra Leone Cricket Association (SLCA) has commenced structural arrangements at the plot of land allocated to them at the Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
Gracing the occasion were the Chief Executive Officer of the SLCA, Francis Trevor Samura; the President of the Student Union Government, Fourah Bay College, Augustine Bona; the Deputy Minister of Sports, Student Union Government, Fourah Bay College, Linda Bull; the Head of Games and Sports Department, Fourah Bay College, Francis Alpha; and a battery of engineers.
The meeting was to conclude arrangements for the structural design, costing, bill of quantity and other civil works on the site for work to continue. The ground, when completed, will have two cricket grounds of international standard, as well as an indoor facility, a high performance centre, a driveway, a parking lot, a hostel, a practicing arena, and other cricket facilities.
