SLCB Launches Online Banking Today

The Sierra Leone Commercial Bank will today launch the online banking service in Freetown as part of the continuous efforts to enable customers conduct a range of financial transactions through the Bank’s website from one’s personal computer or any other devices.


The Banking product, according to officials of the Bank, is divided into three main areas and the first includes: the Personal Internet Banking/MI Yone Online Bank. This, according to the Bank officials, is for individual account holders and its main features includes enabling customers to view list of balances and products menu, amongst others.
Other critical features of the products also involve the ability of customers to view transactions, create new accounts, request for cheque books, funds transfer, loans investment, personal update and customer complaints.
Apart from the personal internet banking, the product also has the Mobile APP/MI YONE SLCB APP and this allows individual/personal account holders to conduct a range of transactions through the Bank’s mobile App.
It features, like the personal banking, include Quick Response Payment, Transfer Funds, Blink Play and Request, etc.
The third service, under the online banking, is the Corporate Internet Banking/WI Yone Online Direct and the critical features, amongst others, include the ability by our preferred customers to serve as admin and transfer, upload payment, forex and request, standing orders, complaints and others, etc.


The Online Banking was developed to allow customers to have access to their accounts on a twenty four hour basis and it is part of the Central Government’s drive to push the boundaries of the traditional banking protocols and barriers.
