SLCB LAUNCHING DIGITAL PRODUCTS TODAY

Sierra Leone Commercial Bank Limited (SLCB) will today Wednesday June 27th 2018 launch two new digital age products: ‘Mi Yone SLCB Teller’ and ‘Mi Yone SLCB Kiosk’.

The two products will be positioned at their Kiosk located adjacent the Adonkia Police Post at 10:00 am.

This latest development is part of SLCB’s assiduous stride to support the Government of Sierra Leone build a stronger economy through reaching the unbanked with appropriate products.

To demonstrate this commitment, the Bank over the years had invested immensely towards the digitalization.

‘Mi Yone SLCB Kiosk’ is a digital non-brick and mortar banking solution that is designed specifically to target the unbanked population and increase SLCB’s access points. It is done with a view to ensuring financial inclusion in the country.

The solution is based on a ‘MI Yone SLCB Teller’ assisted model wherein the banking application on a mobile handset/tablet is used by a cashier within or outside our kiosks or branches to facilitate account opening, cash deposits and withdrawals, give out mini statement, balance enquiry, cheque deposit, funds transfer, Salonelink money transfer  and lots more.

This will enable the Bank to increase penetration of basic banking services to the doorstep of the people and our numerous customers.

The Kiosks at Wilberforce and Adonkia will start operations immediately after the launch on Wednesday 27th June 2018.
