SLCB Takes Teller/Kiosk To South-East

The Roaring Lion, which was launched at Adonkia in Freetown on Wednesday, 27, June 2018, has stormed the market again in the south-east of Sierra Leone with the two notable new digital banking products, the ‘Mi Yone SLCB Kiosk’ and the ‘Mi Yone SLCB Teller’.

The Head of Retail Banking, Mr. Festus Sowah, and the Media and Marketing Consultant for the Mi Yone SLCB Teller/Kiosk, Mr. Jabez Rogers Wright, left Freetown for Bo and Kenema on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, for engagements in the south and eastern regions respectively.

In Bo and Kenema, Mr. Sowah and Mr. Rogers Wright, said the products are in fulfillment of the bank’s long term determination to deliver value to its customers. They added that the products involved are also set to take banking to the doorsteps of the people irrespective of status.

They said the ‘Mi Yone SLCB Kiosk’ is a digital outlet that provides full and secured banking services to the retail and corporate segments.

According to Mr. Sowah and Mr. Rogers Wright, the facilities of the product, amongst others, include opening of new bank accounts and businesses; salary processing; cash deposits and withdrawals; Salone money link; statement and cheque book collection; cheque deposits; EDSA and Mercury collection etc.

They further informed the gatherings, in both regions, that these outlets will initially be operational in Bo and Kenema, and have already been introduced at Wilberforce, Freetown Teachers College, Jui and the Lungi International Airport, while plans are underway for the extension of these outlets to Makeni in the not too distant future.

According to them, the facilities of the product, amongst others, include opening of new bank accounts and businesses; salary processing; cash deposits and withdrawals; Salone money link; statement and cheque book collection; cheque deposits; EDSA and Mercury collection, etc.
